A descent that you cannot miss

La Peonera is one of the canyons carved throughout history by the Alcanadre river. Near the town of Bierge, the river has been carving the limestone to form a canyon where the whitish color of the rock mixes with the blue of the water, forming a perfect combination and creating a magical corner within the Sierra de Guara.

La Peonera is one of the best-known canyons in the sierra and one of the ones with the highest flow, which allows us to enjoy a water descent all year round even when other ravines are dry.

It is also one of the most sporty descents as it combines a wide variety of jumps (up to 10 meters high), siphons, boulder chaos, declimbing, natural slides, rapids and underwater steps.

This descent is an ideal activity to spend a good day with friends and family, as well as for those who want to start canyoning, including people without any previous experience, since in La Peonera it is possible to avoid certain steps if desired. .

Description of the activity

At the established departure time it will be necessary to be at the door of the office with your own vehicle to collect the material and meet the guide who will accompany us throughout the tour.
Remember your swimsuit, food, water and sneakers!

From the office we will follow the guide’s car to the parking lot where the activity begins.

From there we will make an approach march in a swimsuit to the river.

Once in the water we will put on the neoprene and enjoy the descent!
